OUR COMMITMENT to a sustainable future
DTM have stepped forward to be a catalyst for change in the tyre services industry. Through a major review and analysis of our fleet tyre services, tyre usage and working practices, we have developed a Business Strategy that puts environmental consideration at the forefront of our decision making.
We use less new tyres, which minimises carbon and reduces costs. Our ESG Strategy is the sense-check behind our business decisions, and the driving force of our culture. As a team, DTM have genuine ambition to act responsibly for each other, our customers, communities and environment.
What Does B-Corp Mean To DTM?
As a certified B Corp, DTM is proud to be part of a global community of companies using business as a force for good. For us, the certification is the "Ronseal effect" in action: we do what we say. It also means choosing the right path and holding our own as we tread it, moving forward through collaboration, innovation and continuous learning.
Becoming a B Corp gives us both recognition and responsibility on a global scale, to our colleagues, service partners, customers and suppliers, to raise the bar across our industry. This isn't just about growth, it's about creating long-term value by building safer partnerships, setting higher standards and reducing tyre waste.
Tyre particulate and brake dust are now recognised as major sources of microplastic pollution, with real impacts on water quality and the food chain. At DTM, we’re committed to leading the charge in addressing this issue. By partnering with our fleet customers and supporting the transition to EVs, we are actively reducing both particulate emissions and tyre waste. As a certified B Corp, we tackle these environmental challenges head-on while staying firmly aligned with our values." - Leigh Goodland – CEO, DTM.
