Travis Perkins – Tyre Contract

The Travis Perkins Group is a widely recognised brand with some 1900+ locations nationally and a fleet in excess of 4000 vehicles. They are no stranger to RTR for vehicle hire, however this has now excitingly grown to include the announcement that DTM are delighted to have been awarded the tyre management providers for the Travis Perkins Group. 

The account came on stream on 1st October and now sees DTM managing over one million wheels.  The recognition of service support offered by DTM and the strategic service partners within the DTM network demonstrates the ability to manage a diverse fleet with bespoke requirements.

Graham Bellman, Group fleet director at Travis Perkins comments ‘Following a recent tender process we awarded DTM our tyre supply and service contract for our 4000+ vehicle fleet, based on their support systems and network, for us both our key as we operate from 2016 locations in the UK and Ireland, via a mixed fleet from car derived vans to 44 ton trucks and trailers.

The reporting and trend data for us was best in class, and will help in improving our efficiency, and ultimately reducing cost. The DTM team handled over 150 jobs in the first 5 days, and to say I have not had a single email, call or negative comment is testament to the robust system, clear communications, and professional network DTM provide.
